How To: Create a Frequency Register

Overview

The eGauge can be set to record individual CT or line voltage frequency readings as separate registers.

Prerequisites

Firmware version 4.0 or newer

Instructions

Step 1: Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Installation’

Step 2: Under ‘Registers’, click on the ‘Add Register’ button, the name the register as appropriate.

Step 3: Use the dropdown menu and change the ‘Register Type’ from ‘P’ to ‘S’, For CT Frequency or use ‘L’ for Voltage Tap Frequency.

Step 4: In the next dropdown menu, select the appropriate sensor input or voltage reference.

Step 5: Lastly, use the final dropdown to select ‘frequency’, then click ‘Save’

Information

As with all physical registers, data will only start recording from the time the register is created.
