While the eGauge will be most functional when used with a network connection, the meter can be used offline when needed.

When an eGauge is set to get an IP address via DHCP (the default setting) and there is no LAN connection it will default to an IP address of: 192.168.1.88. Setting a computer to a static IP address in this same range will allow for direct connection to access the eGauge interface and settings.
