- Available in firmware v. 4.7 and later.
eGauge meters ship with a default database format that allows for a maximum of 64 registers. The Database Setup tool introduced in firmware v. 4.7 allows the database format to be configurable from a selection of alternate database formats.
The Database configuration tool does not require the meter to be online and will work through direct connection or through the online proxy connection.
Configuration
Warning!
Changing the meter Database Configuration will delete all previously recorded data from the meter. Once completed, the data is not recoverable.
Step 1: Access the Database setup tool by navigating to: Setup → Database

The currently configured database format will show with a graphical representation of the available data granularity based on data age. Note: Volatile memory is not included in this graphic. For this information, see: Status View
Step 2: Use the drop down menu to choose the preferred format.

Step 3: Click Save at the bottom of the screen to change the format.
Step 4: Enter the confirmation value from the warning message and click Delete All to continue. By entering this value you are confirming that you understand that this action will delete all previously recorded data from the meter. This action is irreversible.
