Overview
The Dashboard appearance and layout can be customized by the user. A single Dashboard is made up of multiple individual components called 'Dashlets'. Each Dashlet can be placed and sized independently of every other Dashlet. This section covers creating a layout for your Dashlets, the next section in this chapter will cover how to configure each Dashlet once the layout has been completed.
Prerequisites
- Minimum firmware v4.1, the most current firmware is recommended.
Instructions
Step 1: To add, delete, resize, or move dashlets, click on the ‘hamburger menu’ in the upper left-hand corner and choose 'Edit'.

Step 2: When Edit mode is active, a pink bar will appear at the top of the Dashboard. To add a new Dashlet, click the ‘+’ icon on the left side of the Edit bar. A menu will appear with available Dashlets. Click the + icon to add the Dashlet, or anywhere else in the row to see more information on the Dashlet.

Step 3: To resize or move, click a Dashlet, click on it and a focus box will appear around it. It can then be dragged to a different location. Click and drag the circles on each side to resize the Dashlet.

Step 4: Click the pencil icon while a Dashlet has focus to add an optional label to it. This is particularly useful if you have multiple instances of the same Dashlet that you will configure later for different readings. For instance, the example below shows four Dial Gauge Dashlets each configured with its own settings to display different readings:

Step 5: If you need to delete a Dashlet, make sure it is selected, then click the ‘Trash can’ icon.

Step 6: When you're happy with your layout, click the ‘x’ on the right side of the Edit bar to exit Edit mode. You can now move on to configure your Dashlets to display the readings you want to see.
To save your layout to finish later, from the Main Menu choose ‘Dashboard’ → ‘Save’. This is also important to complete if you want the Dashboard to be available to other users, or if you plan to access your dashboard on multiple computers.
