The TP-Link WiFi access point allows the eGauge to connect to a 2.4GHz wireless network. It is similar to the [USB-powered WiFi adapter](https://kb.egauge.net/books/egauge-hardware-product-pages/page/product-page-usb-powered-wifi-adapter-%28tl-wr802n%29) but must be powered off a wall-adapter and has external antennas.

## Assembly/installation information

The WiFi access point is powered from a 120V barrel jack and connected to the eGauge via the included Ethernet cable. The access point can be easily mounted inside the powered enclosure kit using an included heavy duty Velcro strip.
